Have you ever been walking through an apartment complex or office building, and you stepped on something that felt like a "bubble" in the flooring?

This is called Carpet Delamination. This condition is where the secondary backing of the carpet is detached from the primary backing. Or where the glue loses its stick to the sub-flooring. If this were to happen to your carpets during water damage, we would be required to remove any carpet that was affected by the water, as the carpet has become irreparable. Once we have removed the damaged carpet, we would place the appropriate drying equipment down to remove any remaining moisture in the area.
