Soot Webs

In a building fire, you will find that some damage is blatantly visible and some will look like lack of maintenance. In this picture, you will see that there is what appears to be cob webs on the ceiling. What you are actually seeing is a stick soot from a protein fire that has traveled to another room and attached itself to a surface. While this is a small area that is visibly covered in the soot, the sign leads us to believe that the dirt level is more than meets the eye. SERVPRO of Tuscaloosa will wipe ceilings, walls, flooring and move out the contents for cleaning as well in this particular room. Even though it was not close to the fire and is not as damaged as other rooms adjacent to the cause of loss, the damage spread through the entire downstairs of the home.
