Gutter Cleaning

Just a friendly reminder that spring rains are in a heavy swing in Alabama. It may still be chilly one day and humid the next, but the heavy raining at least once or twice a week is constant. With that being said, be sure to check your gutters and clean those out. This includes any piling leaves on your roof or in your yard that you might have ignored this winter. Leaves that stand for too long are breeding grounds for microbial growth to happen. You especially do not want this to occur on your roof or in your gutters because it could possibly spread to the structure of the house and keep going. With all the raining, a full gutter can overflow and push rainwater under your shingles and into the roof and walls of your home causing damage. SERVPRO of Tuscaloosa North just wants to remind Tuscaloosa to be proactive in protecting their home from preventable water damages.
